HabitLeaf Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

HabitLeaf ("the app") is published by IdeaBridge GmbH. We built HabitLeaf so that your habit data belongs to you. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data stored on your device

All of your habit data (habits, completions, streaks, categories, reminders, plant progress) is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers. We do not operate user accounts and we cannot see your habits.

Backups

The app lets you export a backup file of your data. You choose where that file goes (for example your own iCloud Drive, Google Drive or local storage). We never receive a copy.

Purchases

HabitLeaf Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive anonymous purchase confirmation from the store to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your name, address or payment details. Purchase history is handled by the store under its own privacy policy.

Notifications

Habit reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They do not involve any server.

Data we do not collect

Diagnostics

The operating system may share anonymous crash reports with us through App Store Connect or Google Play Console if you have opted in to share diagnostics with developers in your device settings. These reports contain no habit data.

Deleting your data

Because all data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes your data. You can also clear all data from within the app settings.

Children

HabitLeaf does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
